oldest on the island.

Ohio bed and breakfast,
extends a warm invitation for you to be our guest and
allow the atmosphere of an old country inn, with its
feeling of unhurried living, to surround you and create
a mood of long ago. We offer a variety of accommodations
all of which feature hardwood floors, lofty windows,
paddle wheel fans, central heat and air and antique
furniture and lighting. Whether you are traveling for
business or pleasure, you'll find your lodging needs
most comfortably met in a manner that far exceeds that
of a typical hotel stay. The island of Put in Bay, OH
offers our guests such
interesting diversions as fine shops, restaurants, entertainment,

We stayed at Ashley's Island House for the first time
two years ago, which was also our first time on the
island. Our second stay and visit to the island was
from July 20 - 23 and ended with us reserving another
three night stay next year for ourselves and friends.
The owners and their staff become your friends during
a stay and are very accommodating to their guests. The
house is the islands best located home, it's less than
a 5 minute walk to downtown and it's just a golf cart
ride away from other island must visit landmarks and
businesses. Business travelers, couples, or friends
looking for a relaxing, quite place to enjoy what Put-In-Bay
has to offer, Ashley's Island House is where you want
to stay. Bob, Judy, and Kelly we'll see you next year!

A visit to the detailed and informative website of Ashley's
Island House made it easy to choose this bed and breakast
for a recent long weekend stay at PIB. Upon arrival
we knew we had made the right choice. We were immediately
made to feel at home by the owners and staff who were
friendly, accessible and helpful. We found a beautifully
restored and decorated historic home in a great convenient
location. Everything was especially neat and clean.
In fact, we never felt the need to use the Lysol spray
that travels with us everywhere! We are anxious for
another opportunity to stay at Ashley's.
“Excellent B & B”

Ashley's Island House is close to the main part of town.
We were able to walk to the Boardwalk, the Perry Monument
and all places in between, as well as the Heinemann
Winery. Website pictures match the spacious rooms, self-serve
breakfast buffet was great, our host and hostesses were
friendly, cheerful and helpful, other guests became
friends. Access to hotel pools was provided. A great
place to stay, with affordable rates.

We stayed at Ashley's Island House June 7-9 and fell
in love with the location and the hospitality!! We had
always passed by this house on other stays at the island,
so we were familiar with it. But, the stay there was
much better than we thought it would be. Kelly was a
pleasure to deal with, so nice and friendly. Judy was
very sweet and Bob....... well, we think we fell in
love with Bob!! Haha. We talked with him for a while
and found out what an awesome man he is. This is a fantastic
place and we will most definitely be back and also refer
Ashley's Island House to all of our friends!!
“Great place to stay.”

My wife and I were new to the island. We had never been
to Put-In-Bay before and we had a very pleasant time
there. I must say the atmosphere and hospitality of
everyone associated with the B&B was fantastic.
It's located very close to the main strip, so we never
needed a car. We just walked everywhere we wanted to
go. We loved the room we were in and there isn't much
better than sitting on the porch watching the island
people passing by. Highly recommend this to anyone going
to the island. I know that my wife and I are planning
on staying there during our next trip.
“WOW!!! Beautiful Island, great place to stay
and wonderful experience.”

Stayed at Ashley's Island house over the memorial weekend.
Set just a block or so off the main drag in a shaded
park like setting. Judy and Bob Bransome owners of the
bed & breakfast are an astounding couple. Courteous
and caring but recognize your privacy. Kelly has the
coffee on bright and early with breakfast being served
at 8:30ish to give you time to sleep in or take a morning/walk
or run. Being a local she's a good source of knowledge
of activities around the Island. I would be amiss if
I didn't mention Joe who attends to the landscaping,
maintenance, and anything else needing done. The Bransone's
set out to make your stay memorable if it is a weekend
getaway, extended vacation or a special event for your
family reunion, wedding, or even a business meeting.
Each room is tastefully decorated to compliment the
home that was built in the early 1800's. I especially
like that it has wifi, direct TV, and private bathrooms
in each room. Oh and for the ladies you don't have to
lug a hair dryer as they come furnished with the room.
I would say our visit to Ashley's Island house was one
of the best experiences we have had in our travels.
Thank you Bob & Judy!!

I have lost count of how many times I have stayed with
Bob and Judy at Ashley's Island House over the past
10 years. You just can't beat it. They are wonderful
hosts and provide you with everything you will need
to have a great time on the Island. The front porch
is a perfect place to visit and just watch the world
go by while in Put In Bay. It is located just a short
walk to town or they can tell you where to pick up a
golf cart nearby. I feel I can now call Bob and Judy
great friends and if you stay there you will feel the
same way. Marcia
